Two roads diverted in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
~The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost
Two Roads Mediation is based on the philosophy that there is more than one path for parties to resolve disputes.
Two Roads Mediation offers both civil and domestic mediation services and serves the following counties: Fulton, DeKalb, Clayton, Forsyth, Cobb, Butts, Fayette, Henry, Lamar, Monroe, Pike, Spaulding, Upson, Floyd, Gordon, Bartow, Paulding Douglas, Polk, Haralson and Chattooga. Two Roads Mediation is based on the principal that there are two paths to resolution. Instead of litigation, mediation is a cooperative method for parties to resolve their disputes.
We believe in listening to our customers and helping them form the best solution for their needs.
Mediation is all about options. Parties may craft a straightforward agreement tailored to them. Parties may choose creative solutions during negotiation . By customizing their resolution, parties leave more satisfied with the outcome.
The legal system can be confusing, overwhelming, time-consuming, and slow. Mediation provides parties with the information and authority to forge their own resolution. It allows them to reach an agreement they have created with the other side.
The mediation process helps people better understand the issues of each side. This is especially helpful in situations with continuing relationships between parties. Divorces, child custody, and tenant disputes are some examples.
Mediation allows the parties to control their resolution. Unlike court cases that can leave parties feeling helpless, mediation allows the party to become the decision maker.
Court is a public forum. Mediation, however, is confidential. This allows parties to deal with their private issues in a private setting.
Mediation provides a faster resolution than trial and mediated agreements are enforceable in a court of law. This allows for confidence in any settlements.
